ABOUT
SCI was established in 1979 by Bud and Evelyn Skaar. Since then, we have been licensed in 8 western states, and are capable of bonding projects over 40 million dollars. In 1995, Bud and Evelyn retired, allowing their eldest son Layne Skaar to take over the business. He has strived to maintain and improve the quality of work that is needed for sucessful projects.

SAFETY
Skaar Construction continuoulsy strives to improve our safety program. In a full time inspection on our Cedar Water Treatment Facility by WISHA, SCI received the first of its kind Voluntary Protection Program Award on a construction site. We will continue to build on our safety practices to ensure that all of our employees have the right equipment and knowledge to work safely and to minimize the exposure to hazzards on our projects.
QUALITY
SCI has constructed over 100 storage reservoirs to date. We pride ourselves on our ability to construct a leak-free, water tight, top quality reservoir. We have a trained and skilled work crew, with many whom have been with us for years, that ensures a sucessful project.
